The Aberdeen Comedy Festival returns to the city from 22 September to 5 October, filling venues such as His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall, Lemon Tree, Tivoli and Breakneck Comedy. Chris McCausland opens with Yonks, while Bridget Christie, Deirdre O’Kane and Rory Bremner appear mid‑festival. Matt Richardson brings his stand‑up to Cheerz Club on the 24th. Other acts include Fred MacAulay, Sophie Duker, Adam Kay, Stewart Lee, Elf Lyons, Angela Barnes and Mark Watson. Family shows include Comedy Club 4 Kids and Shelf. Tickets are sold per show, with performances scheduled throughout the day and into the evening.
