On Saturday the 15th of November 2025, the Central Scotland School of Craft hosts a focused Leather Bag-Making workshop in Dunblane. Under the guidance of Jude Gove, participants work with soft leather and pure wool felt to design, stitch and assemble their own cross-body bag. The day covers material selection, cutting techniques, hand-stitching skills, and thoughtful finishing methods to ensure both functionality and durability. Geared towards all abilities, the workshop balances practical instruction with creative choice—from colour combinations to final form. At the end of the session, participants take home a handcrafted bag and newfound confidence in basic leatherworking techniques.
