The Broch Café is a family-run café on Main Street in Strathyre, the village at the head of Loch Lubnaig, and it sits right on National Cycle Route 7, so walkers on the Rob Roy Way and cyclists on the old railway path are among its best customers.

The family are proud of their Italian heritage, and the coffee is Lucaffè, made the Italian way.

The food is fresh rather than fast, with meat from a good local butcher and plenty for vegetarians and vegans, and a counter of home baking and cakes. The building is a timber lodge beside the road, with a carved Highland cow outside, and there are dog-friendly seats inside and under cover outside, with a view of Ben Sheann above the village. It opens from 10am to 4pm every day except Wednesday, when it is closed, and it takes a break in the depths of winter.
