Galleria Luti

A family-run gallery of bright contemporary Scottish art in a converted house on Ancaster Square, Callander.

Welcome

Galleria Luti is a family-run art gallery on Ancaster Square, in the middle of Callander, in a converted stone house whose rooms have been opened up into light, airy spaces on two floors.

It shows original work by contemporary Scottish artists, and colour is the thread that runs through it: bold, distinctive paintings of landscapes, coasts and towns, hung close together on white walls.

As well as paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel, there is handcrafted jewellery by Scottish jewellers, glass, ceramics, sculpture and design-led gifts, including the family's own Peter Luti range, all at prices meant to be within reach. It is a relaxed place to browse, and the family are glad to talk about the work. The gallery opens from 11am to 4.30pm every day except Wednesday, from March onwards; as a family business it closes now and then, so it is worth checking before a special trip.

Hidden Scotland, the magazine

Scotland, in print.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
