Nick's at Port of Menteith
Nick and Julia Nairn's country restaurant on the Lochend Estate at Port of Menteith, with Roman-style pizza, a daily menu and a kitchen garden beside it.
Nick's is the relaxed country restaurant Nick and Julia Nairn opened in 2021 on the Lochend Estate at Port of Menteith, a short drive from the Lake of Menteith on the edge of the Trossachs.
Executive chef Andy Turnbull's à la carte changes every day with what is best, and in the growing season Nick brings vegetables and herbs over from the kitchen garden a few yards away. Plenty of people come for the pizza, thin and Roman style, fired good and hot, and the Sunday roast has a following of its own. On colder days the wood-fired oven keeps the dining room cosy. In summer the covered, heated terrace looks out over the garden, and on Saturdays its outdoor kitchen grills shellfish, seafood and meat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome out there, and there's a menu for children. You don't need to book, but it's wise at busy times.

Bookings are not required, but are recommended at busier times.
