Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park
Scotland's safari park near Stirling, with drive-through reserves, lions, elephants and giraffes, a bird-of-prey show and a dinosaur forest.
Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is Scotland's safari park, set in the countryside just outside Stirling.
You can drive your own car through the big reserves, where animals from around the world roam close to the road, and then park and explore the walk-around areas on foot.
The animals range from lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, rhinos and zebras to lemurs, meerkats, sea lions and otters. There is a boat trip past the chimpanzees' island, a bird-of-prey display, a dinosaur forest and a giant adventure playground. There are places to eat throughout the park. Tickets must be booked online, and it is wise to book well ahead for weekends and school holidays, when the park often sells out. In season it opens daily from 10am to 5.30pm, with last entry at 4.30pm.
