Bite East
A Chinese and Japanese restaurant on Port Street in Stirling, with sushi, bento boxes and noodles, to eat in or take away.
Bite East is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant on Port Street, in the middle of Stirling, behind a red-painted frontage with its name over the door.
It is a handy, unfussy place for an evening meal after a day at the castle, and it cooks everything fresh to order.
The Japanese side of the menu runs from sushi to donburi rice bowls, yakisoba noodles and bento boxes, and there are Japanese curries too, alongside a long list of Chinese dishes. You can eat in, collect a takeaway or order for delivery, and the restaurant is used to catering for large groups as well as a quick meal for one. It opens every day from lunchtime until ten at night, and until eleven on Friday and Saturday, from one o'clock on Sundays. Port Street is a short walk from the railway and bus stations, at the foot of the climb up to the Old Town.
