WoodWinters
A wine and whisky merchant on Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan, importing wines from growers around the world, with whisky, artisan spirits and evening tastings.
WoodWinters is a wine and whisky merchant on Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan, and one of the nicest places around Stirling to choose a bottle.
It's an importer as well as a shop, bringing in wines from growers around the world, such as Michelle Naulot in Chablis, Weingut Riffel on the Rhine and Famille Morin in Beaujolais, and the shelves run from everyday bottles to fine wines. The whisky side is just as good, with Scotch from across the country, more than 40 miniatures, and artisan spirits from around the world. The shop holds evening tastings with visiting producers and brand ambassadors, and the team can arrange a private tasting with one of its sommeliers for a group of friends. There are sister shops in Edinburgh and Inverness. It's open seven days, and until eight on Fridays and Saturdays, and the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle are a short drive away.

Open seven days, and until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
