Winterlight takes place in Stirling between Christmas and Hogmanay, with five nights of live music at the Albert Halls. Acts include Skerryvore, Mànran, Elephant Sessions and Kinnaris Quintet. Each evening follows the same rhythm, with doors opening around half past six and music filling the space soon after. A free family show runs earlier in the day on 30 December, and the final night brings a full ceilidh with food and dancing until ten. Tickets are sold individually or as a pass. Outside, the streets stay quiet, but inside the hall, the sound of strings and voices carries through the dark.
