On 25 November 2025, artist Kialy Tihngang leads a free workshop in Glasgow for Scotland‑based artists (not in education) at Civic House. Inspired by her film Neyinka and the Silver Gong, participants will explore how national identity is constructed, mythologised, and simplified, much like in cinematic trailers. Through creative exercises, Kialy will guide you in crafting your own speculative “trailers” for alternative histories, using techniques borrowed from film marketing to challenge dominant myths and amplify silenced narratives.
