Kingairloch
Seven stone cottages on a coastal estate on Loch Linnhe in Morvern, for two to five, and dogs are welcome in every one.
Cottages along the lochs and in the glen of a remote Highland estate.
Kingairloch is a remote coastal estate in Morvern, reached by a single-track road that runs along the edge of Loch Linnhe. Its seven stone cottages are scattered along the shore and up the glen, each standing on its own. There's a gate lodge built of granite, an old school on the bay, an old post office where the deer graze the lawn, and a cottage at the end of a track with only the loch for company. Otters, red deer, pine martens, wild goats and eagles live on the estate. The estate's Boathouse Restaurant cooks its own venison, beef and lamb by the water, and dogs are welcome everywhere.
Otters in the bay, stags on the lawn and eagles overhead. Simply stunning!
One for five, three for four and three for two.
