Morvern Peninsula
Boathouse Restaurant
Introduction
The Boathouse Restaurant sits on the shores of Loch a’ Choire within Kingairloch Estate, bringing estate produce, Highland ingredients and coastal views into one quietly memorable dining setting. The kitchen uses the estate’s own venison, beef and lamb, alongside seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs from the Walled Garden where available, with local suppliers supporting the wider menu. Chef George creates seasonal dishes shaped by the produce at hand, while Cheryl leads the front-of-house team. Guests can visit for coffee and cake, lunch, dinner or Sunday roast, with the water just outside and the hills rising around the estate. Six moorings are available offshore on a first-come, first-served basis, so those arriving by sea can step ashore for a meal. Advance booking is required, with dietary needs and special requests shared when booking.
Location
The Boathouse Restaurant is part of Kingairloch Estate, near Ardgour and Fort William on the west coast of Lochaber. It sits beside Loch a’ Choire, within the wider coastal estate, with cottages, moorings, hill ground, woodland, walking routes and Loch Linnhe all close by.
