Seaview Cottage is a little stone cottage for two on the Kingairloch Estate, on the Morvern side of Loch Linnhe, sitting right on the loch’s edge at the foot of the estate’s mountains.

It is reached by a winding estate track that includes a ford, which is usually dry. The estate says most vehicles will get through, and if you are worried it can take your luggage and shopping to the cottage in one of its 4x4s. Since the track was upgraded the cottage has been open all year.

Inside there’s a lounge and kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a generous bedroom, and a large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. Outside there’s a large bike store for the estate tracks. Coastal birds, red deer, otters and eagles all live on the estate, and one guest wrote that an otter joining them for breakfast was the highlight of their stay. Up to two dogs are welcome; there is no fenced area.

What is here

There’s a wood-burning stove and night storage heating, a large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and tall fridge freezer, and Wi-Fi, a TV with a DVD player, linen and towels all provided.

Where it is

Seaview Cottage is on the Kingairloch Estate, on the Morvern side of Loch Linnhe, reached by a winding estate track along the loch's edge.

Strontian is the nearest village, 13 miles or about 30 minutes away, with a post office, fuel and a shop, and Fort William is 25 miles, an hour to an hour and a half including the Corran Ferry.
