An award-winning gallery of contemporary Scottish art on the shore of Loch Sunart, with four exhibition spaces and changing shows.

On the edge of Loch Sunart, in one of the quietest corners of the west Highlands, Resipole Studios is an award-winning gallery and one of the leading places to see contemporary Scottish art.

It has four exhibition spaces, each with its own changing programme, so there is always something new to see. The walls hold work by contemporary Scottish painters and artists from further afield, and there is sculpture, photography, jewellery, ceramics and woodturning too. Among the artists shown are Lucy Newton, Mark Ivan Cole, Jonathan Shearer, Penelope Anstice and Kirsty Lorenz.

The gallery opens from Tuesday to Saturday, from ten until five, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It makes a fine stop on the road along Loch Sunart, and its exhibitions change through the year, so a second visit is never the same as the first.
