Welcome

The Lodge on the Loch has its view in its name.

The hotel stands on the shore of Loch Linnhe at Onich, between Glencoe and Fort William, with its own private beach and the mountains rising on the far side of the water. Its dining room looks straight out over the loch, so ask for a table by the window, at breakfast or at dinner after a day in the hills. Afterwards there's a whisky lounge and a loch-view lounge to settle into with a dram or a coffee. It makes a relaxed base for a few days around Glencoe and Fort William, and an easy place to stop for a meal on the road north. The restaurant and bar are open from 8am to 10pm every day, and there's parking at the door.
