Introduction
A major tourist town in the Highlands, Fort William is the second-largest settlement in the region. Popular with visitors to major natural attractions nearby including Ben Nevis, the Glen Coe mountains and Aonach Mòr, it’s often described as the Outdoor Capital of the UK. Its scenery has also been used in many films, including Harry Potter, Highlander and Braveheart.
