Introduction
Largely unchanged since its first construction in the 13th century, the ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle is found near Fort William. Cared for by Historic Environment Scotland, it is unusual for its kind because of how unchanged it has been since the reign of King Alexander III. The ruins are also a Scheduled Monument.
