Both races start and finish at the Badaguish Outdoor Centre near Aviemore, using off‑road trails through forest and lochside paths in Glenmore Forest Park. The half marathon runs on Saturday 4 October, the 10 km race follows on Sunday 5 October. Half marathon runners must be at least 17, and 10 km runners at least 15 at race time. The terrain involves solid forest tracks with gentle elevation; regular running shoes are sufficient. Aid stations, electronic timing, and an event village with food and water are available. No headphones or dogs allowed. Competitors must pre-enter online; entries close at noon on 29 September. Limited shuttle bus service and parking at Badaguish are available by prior booking.
