Carrbridge Golf Club
A nine-hole course above Carrbridge, played for over a hundred years, rising to a thousand feet with views across the Cairngorms.
Carrbridge Golf Club lies at the north end of Carrbridge, the northern gateway to the Cairngorms National Park, and it has been played for more than a hundred years.
It is a nine-hole course, rising to around a thousand feet in places, with views across the Cairngorm mountains and the hills around the Dulnain.
The course winds through heather and birch and old Scots pines, with wide fairways and plenty of rough. The seventh hole is the one people remember, with its green raised thirty feet above the fairway, and the greens are counted among the best in the Spey Valley. A small green-painted clubhouse with a red roof stands by the first tee. The course is open from eight in the morning until eight at night.
