Landmark Forest Adventure Park
An adventure park in the pinewoods at Carrbridge, with water coasters, treetop nets, a Forest Tower and a kingdom of dinosaurs.
Landmark Forest Adventure Park fills a stretch of old pinewood in Carrbridge with a day's worth of things to do, and it has been named one of the UK's top ten attractions by Which?.
There are twenty-two attractions in all, and the forest is part of the fun: the Red Squirrel Trail and the Ancient Forest Adventure take you among the trees, and the Forest Tower climbs 105 steps for a view over the pines to the hills.
The big draws are the Wild Water Coasters, bright red slides and boats through the trees, NetworX, which the park says was Scotland's first aerial net challenge, high in the canopy, and RopeworX, its high ropes course. Dinosaur Kingdom has life-size dinosaurs among the pines, and there is a fossil dig, a butterfly house, a tropical hot house, the illusions of the Bamboozeleum and Wonderwood, mini diggers, a climbing wall and a toddlers' playground. Some rides run only in the summer season, from late March to late October. Booking online the day before saves up to five pounds a ticket.
