Burnfield Bakery
A small bakery on Pollokshaws Road in Strathbungo, open every day, with cinnamon buns, swirls, croissants and speciality coffee to take away.
There's always a good reason to head over to the Southside, and Burnfield Bakery on Pollokshaws Road is one of the tastiest.
It's a small bakery in Strathbungo, close to Queen's Park, with its window and shelves stacked high with the day's bakes. Expect cinnamon buns, cheese and chilli jam swirls, filled croissants, cheese twists, cookies and traybakes, alongside speciality coffee and tea. Choose at the counter and take your bag of treats with you, perhaps to the park, or round the corner to the Tramway and the Hidden Gardens, both a few minutes away on foot. Greek Thomson's terrace on Moray Place is only a few minutes away too, for a little architecture with your pastry. It's open every day, from 9am on weekdays and 9.30am at the weekend, until 4pm, and the earlier you arrive, the more there is to choose from.

Open every day.
There is no booking: choose at the counter and take it with you.
