Some Great Reward
A record shop and café in the Cooperage courtyard on Pollokshaws Road, open since 2018, with new and rare vinyl and a keen ear for music from Scotland.
Some Great Reward is the kind of record shop that makes you want to linger, a friendly little place in the Cooperage courtyard on Pollokshaws Road, on Glasgow's South Side.
It opened in 2018, moved into the Cooperage in 2022, and is run by a small team who have played in bands, worked in record shops and run club nights of their own. The racks are full of new and rare vinyl across every kind of music, and the shop is keen to turn you on to the best new music coming out of Scotland. There's coffee too, so you can take a cup with you as you browse, and the team are always up for a blether about what's playing. It's step-free and dogs are welcome, and it's a short walk from Strathbungo's cafés and restaurants. The shop is open every day except Tuesday, from noon on weekdays, 10am on Saturdays and 11am on Sundays.

Step-free, and dogs are welcome.
