Inside Hill Cottage.

Hill Cottage is sculpted into the curve of the hillside above Loch Eriboll and clad in honey-coloured stone, so it seems to grow out of the land. Its glass front follows the curve of the building through the kitchen and living room, with oak-clad walls, heated floors and oversized chairs round a wood-burning stove. The bedroom has a huge sliding door and a handmade bed, and the bathroom has a big shower in local stone and a grand bath.
