The Sly Fox

A small vegan cafe on Henderson Street in Leith, off Great Junction Street, cooking plant-based Czech dishes and vegan brunches, with raw vegan sweets.

Call
Welcome

There's something about a café where everything is plant-based and nobody misses a thing, and the Sly Fox, on Henderson Street just off Great Junction Street in Leith, is a real find.

It began as vegan street food before setting up shop here, and its cooking leans towards the Czech kitchen, with bowls of goulash and crisp potato pancakes. Brunch is vegan too, from scrambled tofu to a breakfast burger and a full veggie breakfast. There are raw vegan sweets to finish, and homemade hummus to take away. It's small and fills up quickly, so it's worth booking a table. The Sly Fox is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am, closing at 4pm midweek and a little later from Friday to Sunday, and dogs are welcome.
