Newbarns Taproom

The taproom of Newbarns, the brewers of Leith, on Jane Street off Leith Walk, pouring its pilsner, lagers, table beer and IPA where they are brewed.

Welcome

There's something about drinking a beer right where it was brewed, and the Newbarns taproom, on Jane Street just off Leith Walk, is the place to do it in Leith.

Newbarns calls itself the brewers of Leith, and its range runs from a pilsner, Lothian Lager, a table beer and a pale ale to the Ziggy IPA, with seasonal brews such as a rauchbier and a weissbier. The taproom is in the brewery itself, so you drink a few steps from where the beer is made, and there's a small space outside for sunny days. It hosts film screenings now and then too. Dogs are welcome. The taproom opens from Thursday to Sunday, from 5pm on Thursday, 3pm on Friday and noon at the weekend, and groups can book a table by email.
