Tomatin Distillery
Introduction
Tomatin Distillery is a Highland whisky producer founded in 1897 and located south of Inverness on the A9. It has a long heritage in Scottish whisky making and produces a varied range of single malt and blended Scotch whiskies, including core aged expressions and distillery exclusives. The distillery became known in the 1970s as one of the largest malt whisky producers before evolving its focus towards quality single malts. Visitors to the distillery can explore the visitor centre with guided tours and tastings, learn about the production process and enjoy samples of classic Highland whiskies. A brand store is available on site, and experiences include the opportunity to fill your own bottle of cask strength whisky. The setting in Highland countryside adds to the sense of place and tradition at Tomatin Distillery.
