Lundies House is a 19th-century church manse in the little village of Tongue, on Scotland's wild north coast, made into a small hotel with Scandinavian design inside.

Downstairs are a lounge, a study and a candlelit dining room, and upstairs the bedrooms look out over the Kyle of Tongue. Dinner is three courses of local produce from sea and land, with things foraged from the shore and the woods, served on ceramics by Scottish and Danish makers. Beyond the herb garden are studio rooms in the old steadings, a courtyard fire pit, and a stream with a hidden pool for a plunge.

This is a place to feel the rhythms of nature and find a deep connection with a raw and unspoilt landscape.

Lundies House is located in Tongue on Scotland’s north coast, overlooking the Kyle of Tongue.

It sits along the NC500 route, around 1 hour from Durness and 2 hours from Inverness, with access via quiet Highland roads and on-site parking available.
