Keeper's Cottage stands right on the shore of Loch Hope, in the far north of Sutherland, a stone and slate house for six with views across the water to the mountains.

Inside it's a warm patchwork of scented antique Scots pine, tweed and local craft. The big wood-lined kitchen leads into a dining room and sitting room that share a double-sided open fire, with the loch outside the windows. Upstairs, three wood-clad bedrooms sit under the eaves, each with its own bathroom and a deep copper tub. Outside, a large wild garden has a table for eating out, a firepit and seats for watching the stars. Fish, swim or picnic by the loch, hire an e-bike for the day, and bring the dog.

This is a place to feel the rhythms of nature and find a deep connection with a raw and unspoilt landscape.

Keeper's Cottage sits directly on the shore of Loch Hope, on WildLand's 100,000-acre Hope estate on Scotland's far north coast, with Ben Hope across the water.
