Everything in the gallery is made by hand in Scotland by the tutors and makers who teach at the craft and jewellery schools in the same building.

A gallery and shop on Dunblane High Street selling crafts made by hand in Scotland by the tutors of the two craft and jewellery schools in the same building.
Craft Central is a gallery and shop on Dunblane High Street, in the Riverview building, and everything on its shelves is made by hand in Scotland.
The makers are the tutors and creatives who teach at the two schools under the same roof: the Scottish Craft School, with its classes in willow, wood, paper and thread, and the Central Scotland School of Jewellery. So the silver jewellery, textile accessories, homewares and quirky ceramics are by people who teach their craft, and much of what is for sale can be learned at a workshop in the same building.
There are cards to go with the gifts, books, and craft kits for anyone who wants to try at home. The gallery is open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, for browsing and a chat about who made what, and workshops can be booked at the desk. Dunblane station is about three minutes' walk away, and the free Millrow car park is directly behind.
Arrives at 5am every day.

The Scottish Craft School and the Central Scotland School of Jewellery both give Craft Central on the High Street as their address.

The people behind the desk book workshops too, so a pair of earrings or a willow basket can be followed by a day learning to make one.

New places, news and stories, as we find them.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
