The Strathearn Gallery
A gallery of contemporary Scottish painting, ceramics, glass and jewellery on West High Street in Crieff, founded in 1994.
On West High Street in Crieff, the Strathearn Gallery has been showing the work of Scottish artists since 1994.
Susan and Scott Bennett have run it since 2013, working closely with a chosen group of painters and makers from across Scotland.
The rooms are white and bright, with paintings hung around the walls and ceramics, glass and sculpture set out on plinths across the floor: raku pots with birds perched on their lids, swirling glass bowls in green and orange, landscapes and still lifes. Exhibitions change through the year, with solo shows by the gallery's artists and themed shows in between, and there is jewellery and smaller work too.
The gallery is a short walk from the town's square and the Knock of Crieff, and it opens every day of the week, from ten on weekdays and Saturdays and from noon on Sunday.
