Welcome

Damsel Bakery is a sourdough bakery and coffee shop on James Square, right in the middle of Crieff, and one of the Good Food Guide's 50 best bakeries in Britain for 2026.

Come in the morning and the racks are stacked with crusty sourdough, seeded loaves, baguettes and focaccia, with pastries alongside. The almond croissants and savoury danishes have plenty of fans, but the one to order is the morning bun: soft, flaky and buttery, and rolled in orange and cinnamon sugar. Have it with a coffee, and take a loaf home for later while you're there. It's open from Thursday to Sunday, 8am to 3pm, and dogs are welcome. With the Strathearn Gallery round the corner and Lady Mary's Walk by the river a short stroll away, it makes a lovely start to a morning in Crieff.
