Largs Viking Festival

The Largs Viking Festival spans nine days from Saturday 30 August until Sunday 7 September 2025 along Largs seafront. The week opens at 1 pm with a parade and ceremony, followed by live music, combat displays, workshops, crafts and the recreated Viking Village that demonstrates life in 13th‑century Norse Scotland. Daily the village runs from 10 am to 5 pm (last entry 4.30 pm). The free Scottish craft market opens from 9 am until 6 pm (extending to 10 pm on Saturday). Festival climax arrives Saturday evening with the torch‑lit procession, battle re‑enactment, longboat burning and fireworks from around 7.30 pm.
