Introduction
Rugged and rural, Kames is a small village on the Cowal peninsula, but perfectly situated to take in the majesty over the Kyles of Bute. One best known for its involvement in the gunpowder trade, the village is largely made up of a strip of coastal housing, as well as a church, grocery store and 9-hole golf course.
