Welcome

On Bonnytoun Farm, on the edge of Linlithgow, Grow Wild has been growing organic food for a long time.

It was one of a handful of organic box schemes in Scotland back in the 1990s, has been certified by the Soil Association since 1998, and today goes further still, farming its 285 acres on regenerative lines, powered almost entirely by the sun.

The farm shop is where it all comes together. A big wooden table is heaped with vegetables and fruit grown on the farm, fresh from the field through the seasons, alongside organic produce from other growers. There are eggs and dairy, bread, meat, game and charcuterie, and a pantry of wholefoods and household things.

The team know their produce well and are happy to talk about what is growing on the farm. The shop opens from Tuesday to Saturday, and it makes a good stop on the way to the House of the Binns.
