Welcome

Limekilns is a little village on the Fife shore of the Firth of Forth, a few miles west of the bridges, with a green, a small harbour and wide views over the water.

On its Main Street, in a handsome stone building with a blue front and picnic tables outside, is Coorie by the Coast, a cafe with a few rooms upstairs.

The cafe opens early for breakfast and serves brunch and lunch through the day: eggs and bacon on toast, full breakfasts, waffles, sandwiches, soups and salads, with a counter of cakes and ten flavours of ice cream made by Nelson's of Culross. Families and dogs are made very welcome, and gluten-free choices are clearly marked.

The Fife Coastal Path runs right past the door. Upstairs are six bedrooms, many with views of the sea.
