Bo’ness Motor Museum
A small motor museum in Bo'ness with classic cars and film cars, from James Bond's to Harry Potter's Ford Anglia and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Bo'ness Motor Museum is a small, friendly museum in the old town of Bo'ness, on the Firth of Forth, packed with classic cars and famous vehicles from film and television.
It was opened in April 2004 by the Bond girl Caroline Munro and the actor Shane Rimmer, and it has been growing ever since, with more than thirty vehicles and hundreds of exhibits.
The heart of it for many visitors is the James Bond exhibition, with cars, props and memorabilia from the films, including a BMW 750 from Tomorrow Never Dies and a stunt bike from No Time To Die. Harry Potter fans can see the Weasleys' Ford Anglia, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a rare road-legal car with working wings, came home to the museum in 2025. Around them are family cars of the 1950s to the 1970s, each with a story. It opens at weekends from 11am (last entry 4pm), and weekday visits can be booked by phone.
