Saint Margaret's Cave

Add to List

Introduction

Named for St Margaret, who was once the Queen of Scotland, it’s believed this cave was the place where she came to pray in the 11th century. Something of a pilgrimage site for visitors, Margaret was a deeply religious woman who was made a saint by Pope Innocent the Fourth.
