Brett
A small restaurant on Great Western Road at Kelvinbridge, with a counter round an open kitchen, a modern European menu from Scottish produce and a place in the Michelin Guide.
There's something special about a small restaurant where you can watch every plate being made, and Brett is one of Glasgow's best.
It's a relaxed room on Great Western Road at Kelvinbridge, with a counter wrapped around an open kitchen and its grills. It's part of the same family as Cail Bruich, and Chef Director Colin Anderson and his team cook a modern European menu that follows what Scotland's producers bring in, with as little waste as possible. Sit at the counter to watch the chefs at work, or take a table on the little terrace on a fine evening. The à la carte runs to three courses, while the Chef's Menu sends out a run of smaller dishes for the whole table over about two and a half hours, with natural wines to go with them. It has a place in the Michelin Guide. Dinner is served from Tuesday to Saturday, with lunch on Fridays and Saturdays, and it's a small room, so book ahead.
