Welcome

Perch & Rest Coffee is one of the prettiest coffee stops in the West End, a little white cottage on Otago Street by the River Kelvin, with greenery along the windows and tables and chairs set out in front.

Inside, it's part coffee bar and part shop, with bags of beans, brewing kit and gifts on the shelves, so you can take a little of it home with you. The coffee is made with care, and there are cakes, pastries and sandwiches to go with it, served from breakfast through lunch. Children are welcome, and so are dogs. It's open every day, from 9am on weekdays, 9.30am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday, until 5pm. It sits in a lovely corner of the city too, a short walk from Kelvinbridge subway and Great Western Road, with two of Glasgow's best secondhand bookshops close by on Otago Street and Otago Lane.
