Glasgow takes its coffee seriously, and much of it is roasted in the city. There's a roaster that has been going since 1841, a roaster and bakery at Kelvinbridge, and a Turkish coffeehouse pouring slow-brewed cups. In Partick and Hyndland you'll find small independent coffee shops, and the bakeries do excellent cake. Pick a neighbourhood and wander. Take a bag of beans home.
