University Cafe

The University Cafe on Byres Road is somewhat of a Westend Staple. As other cafes seem to be coming and going, this family run cafe has been serving the community for over 100 years.  They recently celebrated this feat by handing out free ice cream to customers. Four generations of the Verrecchia family have been running this straightforward cafe. We recommend dropping by for one of their famous ice creams, made with double cream, it's perfect for a summer day in Glasgow.
