Welcome

Behind a deep green front with a white door on North Berwick's High Street, Time and Tide is a shop for anyone who loves to dress a home.

Step inside and there is a gorgeous scent of reed diffusers, and a shop set out with furniture and decor.

It specialises in statement pieces: sideboards and cabinets of carved and washed mango wood, leather and sheepskin armchairs, a hanging rattan chair piled with bright cushions. Around them are lamps, mirrors, wall art, vases, baskets and throws, so there is something at every price, from a small gift to a centrepiece for a room.

The staff are warm and helpful, and visitors often mention them as much as the shop. It opens every day, and there is an online shop too for anything too big to carry home.

Hidden Scotland, the magazine

Scotland, in print.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
