The Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse

A design-led, boutique bunkhouse on the Trotternish peninsula, this new-style hostel, looking out over the bay, has a cool and colourful communal lounge with sofas in sea blue and Granny Smith-green and a cosy wood-burner. The sleek, contemporary kitchen-diner is kitted out with red range stoves and lime green banquette seating. In the bedrooms built-in wooden bunks have Scandi-style tongue and groove walls, grey-blue and cream tartan privacy curtains and sheepskin rugs.
