On 23 November 2025, join the Introduction to Boro and Sashiko workshop at MAKE by Narture Studios in Ayr. This hands-on session explores traditional Japanese mending techniques that combine Boro patchwork and Sashiko embroidery using running stitches. Inspired by the philosophy of wabi-sabi and mottainai, participants will breathe new life into denim garments, repairing or decorating with patches and decorative stitching. No sewing machine is required, just bring a denim piece (or two) and your creativity. All other materials are provided, and the class is suitable for all levels.
