Burns House Museum
Introduction
Another of Burns’ homes preserved for posterity, the Burns House Museum has carefully restored where he spent some of his most creative years. Sitting on farmland in Mauchline, the house features a number of historic artefacts – including original manuscripts -that Burns owned, as well as contemporary work created in response to his prose by local artists.
