Welcome

In the village of Glamis, a row of five old workers' cottages of red stone, draped in ivy and climbing plants, has been turned into a gallery.

Glamis Gallery opened here in 2019 and has grown from two rooms and a studio to fill the whole terrace.

The work is all by Scottish artists and makers: paintings and prints, sculpture and metalwork, ceramics, textiles, glass, jewellery and candles, for the house and for the garden. Five of the rooms are working studios, so visitors can often see pieces in progress and meet the people who make them.

The gallery opens from Wednesday to Sunday, and it is in the same village as Glamis Castle and the gin bothy, so all three fit into a day.
