Fife
Bunnett Stane
Introduction
Found in West Lomond and named for its distinctive, if not slightly odd-looking shape, the Bunnett Stane – or ‘Bonnet’ for the English – was formed over millions of years by the natural elements of ice and wind. Just beneath it is a manmade cave, where historians have detailed just how the rock was made.
