Introduction

A disused stretch of tunnel, split into two, the Glenfarg Tunnels were first opened in 1890. Not one for claustrophobes, intrepid walkers can walk the two sets of 500m long North and South tunnels. The tunnels are – naturally – very dark, so make sure to bring a torch if you’re passing through.
