Typewronger Books

Typewronger Books, located in Haddington Place, Edinburgh, is surely one of a kind. As well as housing a great selection of books, they are also a seller and repairer of antique typewriters. There is a quirky yet relaxed atmosphere to the place, and its owner Tom Hodges will be sure to offer you a coffee or a cup of tea when you arrive. Both fiction and non-fiction items are well represented, and the shop is very easy to navigate. If you come at the right time, lots of interesting events are held there, including poetry, open-mic nights, comedy and music.
