Introduction
Though its nickname is largely considered to be a derogatory one – the statue is actually made out of fibreglass – the Statue of Rubha Raonuill is still something of a local landmark. Built by the local Catholic community, the statue marks the entrance of Loch Nevis, overlooking a small beach towards Inverie Bay.
